The mission of the Museum is to bear witness to national and universal values through the dissemination of world and Polish art, especially of the Cracovian centre, and through museum activities encompassing collections and works of scientific, historical and artistic value, created as a result of the convictions of those who share a sense of belonging to or appreciation of Polish culture - regardless of their place of residence, nationality or religion.
