Zoological Garden in Cracow - founded in 1929, on the territory of Krakow's Wolski Forest on Pustelnik Hill

Cracow Zoo is a medium-sized zoo.
We currently exhibit more than 1400 animals, representatives of about 270 species. A numerous group is made up of extinct and endangered animals (more than 100 species). These include Rothschild's giraffe, Przewalski's horse, dwarf hippopotamus, little panda, snow leopard, Amur tiger, mane wolf, addax antelope, chimpanzee, vari and katta lemurs, Indian elephant, great condor, Humboldt penguin.
